2004 Lancia Thesis Stola S85

In 2004 Stola S.p.A. introduced the S 85 prototype at the Geneva Auto Show to commemorate the companies 85 years in business. The S85 is based on the Lancia Thesis, a tribute to the relationship Stola has formed with Lancia dating back to 1919 when Lancia commissioned Stola to manufacture the Lambda show car.

The interior was elegant with special diffused lighting, fully adjustable rear seats, Flau leather, wood floors, drink coolers, and LWD Mobile Car System engineered and produced by Informatica Delta S.p.A. The system allowed for a portable office environment complete with internet connection capable of receiving emails and faxes. The video games, DVD movies, and MP3 player provided entertainment.

The vehicle had been stretched 600 mm in comparison to the Lancia Thesis. To elude the impression that the vehicle was a limousine, the vehicle was given a two-tone amaranth color scheme. The lower and upper surfaces were revised to obtain a harmonious and cohesive form rather than the typical 'stretched look'.
